Ladybirds – 14.06.22

After another busy busy bit of time It has been really lovely to find the time to stop and take a moment to enjoy all the wonders of nature and the insects in and around my garden. I have found it fascinating to watch the ladybird larvae developing and bring lots of new insects into my garden to help control the aphid population that can quickly take over your favourite plants.

Besides the birds and ladybirds I find the best way to stay atop of the aphids is a recycled spray bottle filled with a soapy mixture (dish soap and water) regularly sprayed where they gather, just squishing them on sturdier plants such as roses also works.

During a recent walk at Brixworth country park I loved seeing the Ermine moth caterpillars and their amazing webs coating the spindle trees.

Update 10.05.22

Wow what a busy, busy few months it’s been, I’ve barely had time to stop and enjoy some of the many gardens that I have come across.

There has been several projects of varying sizes undertaken and in progress, including fences, meadows, greenhouse irrigation systems and raised beds (I shall upload some photos in the coming weeks).

My regular garden maintenance workload has rapidly increased too, it has been a real joy to get to know several new gardens as the weather continues to warm up and the flowers bloom.

I will have a couple more spaces available in the coming weeks so if your grass needs mowing or your garden needs a tidy, give me a call on 07507 863605 for a free no obligation quote to see what I can do for your garden.

Previous work

Having some time off work this past week has allowed me the opportunity to reflect on the work I have done over the past few years.

Its been nice to look back and see the way the gardens have changed and grown over time from the one off jobs i’ve done to my regular clients past and present. I feel that I have learnt and improved many different skills that I continue to apply in my work today.

I hope you enjoy looking back through my previous work and maybe find inspiration for how I can help transform your garden.
